Role Summary
The Global Product Manager will lead marketing initiatives for the overall PBC BioMed brand and its affiliate companies. They will support consultancy client projects, acting as upstream or downstream product manager based on the client’s needs and stage in the product development lifecycle. This comprehensive role will allow the product manager to utilize their medical product marketing expertise in driving client awareness, engagement, and satisfaction across all spectrums of traditional product lifecycle management, including managing surgeon relationships, conducting market research, identifying solutions for unmet needs, development of new medical therapies, and creating go-to-market strategies for commercial execution.
Role and Responsibilities
- Upstream product management lead in support of client’s development projects and internal PBC affiliate IP commercialization, including not limited to:
- Business opportunity assessments
- Competitive landscape and market research
- Market model development to create project business plans
- Voice of Customer plan and execution
- KOL and advisory board selection
- Validation of customer requirements for design projects
- Commercialization strategy development and go-to-market execution
- Identifying distribution or licensing partners, and proposing cross-client opportunities
- Lead development of clear and compelling value propositions addressing clinical needs
- Set pricing, product positioning, target markets for launch
- Create sales and marketing collaterals leading up to product launches/hand-off to client
- Downstream product management lead for clients’ commercially available products or brands, including not limited to:
- Downstream marketing plan strategy and execution
- Trade show and event management
- Social media strategy and digital platform management/integration
- Press release distribution
- Media plans and advertising
- Brand awareness and marketing campaign strategy and content development
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive timely project execution and client satisfaction
- Support the VP of BD and Marketing in the creation and execution of the PBC BioMed brand plan
- Create new marketing collaterals, media, and tools for all PBC BioMed departments and affiliates
- Select and manage 3rd party vendors for all marketing related projects
- Act as the liaison for all global PBC BioMed surgeon KOLs
- Plan and execute clinical advisory board meetings and labs
- Support tradeshows and events to promote PBC BioMed services, engage KOLs and clients, and network with client prospects
- Identify new client leads and support client acquisition process and proposals
- Identify cross-client/project opportunities and propose engagement and collaboration plans
